Sometimes it can be incredibly hard to persevere through mistakes and feelings of being out of place. Sometimes you just you’re just in a funk. I turn to quotes because I love words when I feel low. I love how you can string them together and they can change your mood.  Here are 10 quotes to boost your mood and help you remember how fabulous you are.

“Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.” – Marie Curie

“Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” – Christopher Robin

“Success is most often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.”― Coco Chanel

“I love the person I’ve become because I fought to become her.” – Kaci Dane

“I always did something I was a little not ready to do. I think that’s how you grow. When there’s that moment of ‘Wow, I’m not really sure I can do this,’ and you push through those moments, that’s when you have a breakthrough.” — Marissa Mayer

“The question isn’t who’s going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me.” – Ayn Rand

Lastly, a quote from Maya Angelou. Sometimes I need to read it after I’ve made a mistake. It’s reminder to do better next time.

“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” – Maya Angelou

  1. I love these quotes. Especially “Success is most often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.” by C. Chanel. it really resonates with me.

My most favorite quote is “Success is often missed because it’s dressed in overalls and look like work.”:-)

  2. Very inspiring quotes Gabbi. Thanks for sharing them at this time of year. I’m using quotations at the opening, and sometimes midway, in my new book chapters. All different kinds. One I did not use because another just was a better fit: “We can’t underestimate the value of silence. We need to create ourselves, need to spend time alone. If you don’t, you risk not knowing yourself and not realizing your dreams.” ― Jewel

  3. I also love inspirational quotes. I post them with art, twice daily on Facebook and Pinterest. Inspirational quotes shift my mood and also seem to be helping my friends and followers, based on their participation. When I am searching for quotes to post, first thing in the morning, I consider it a form of meditation because the sayings really do shift my perception.

  4. Wonderful quotes, each and every one. I said the Ayn Rand quote to myself sometimes several times a day as I navigated a sea of testosterone in my career!!! Still hits home with me.

  5. The “let me stop me” one…just great.

Relevant: “A guy can have talent and a guy can have drive, but the drive’s always gotta be bigger than the talent” – Lebron James

So I’m totally using these quotes and linking back when I do:)

    Happy Holidayz Gabbi!

  6. Great quotes Gabbi! I too use motivational pieces when I need inspiration or a kick in the ass! At least a couple of times of years I watch a piece from Dr. Randy Pausch called, “The Last Lecture”. It puts things in perspective for me and inspires me to remember to keep persevering!

    Thank you for sharing!

  7. I’m with Susan Cooper. My hands down favorite is: “Success is most often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.”― Coco Chanel In my opinion, it’s twitter worthy.
